Compost not broken down

Hi. Hope you are well and keeping safe. We needed to move 'dalek' compost bin and my husband placed some of the compost on the garden. This has clearly not rotted down as well as I had hoped. Showing egg shells orange peel. I have been using accelerant powder. If I dig it into the ground will it continue to rot. Any suggestions for the future. We use egg shells daily and oranges daily. Thank you

Sure, just dig a trench and fill it in with that, then cover with the soil you removed.  Leave the soil on top a bit mounded as it will settle lower over the next month.

Wet it, stir it up, and throw it back in for a bit longer.  Egg shells don't actually break down, I bake them and smash  them up.

Egg shells last ages unless you break them up. I usually have to pick out some still-visible corn cobs, fruit stones and similar, out of done compost and put them into a starter bin for another round.
