Had a new turf lawn laid at the beginning of November I've checked that it's rooted which it has due to the poor weather in my area I've not managed to cut it yet also its turning brown in some areas only very light woundered if this was natural to happen als would like to know if I can feed it yet any info would be greatly appreciated thanks Richard

I think that's the way grass is, rather like hair not a uniform colour.
Lawn upkeep usually starts around March when the grass is actively growing. Keep mower blade high as  the shorter the grass the shorter the root, you can lower the cut during the summer months.  April I think is the time to start feeding but the manufacturer will say on the product you buy.
  • K67 thanks for that as long as I know I'm not doing anything wrong at the moment what type of feed would you recommend liquid or other ?

There are a few threads on here about lawn feed, evergreen 4in1 seems to cause problems with burning the grass, mainly I think as it must be well watered in and putting too much on.
I don't have grass and the last 2 gardens that did I had Green Thumb look after it.
Also depends on your lawn size.
I expect a lawn expert will post soon to help you
