Work for the spring....

Ah.

The veg-bed-to-be-renovated has emerged from under the snow and is winking at me indignantly.

Time to gird the loins, dust off the todo list and plant some garlic.

Veg seeds have come. Potatoes ready to be chitted. I fetched compost today. Just need the weather to warm up a bit.
  • Ooh yes I’d forgotten the spuds ... I put them on egg cartons in the studio to chit on Monday 👍

Have to do thing s earlier here to beat the recent spring and summer droughts so garlic, shallots and broad beans went in in December and, after an unusually cold and January, they're finally looking good.

Today was our first warm day this year and a fruit bush planting day.  Weekly SM run tomorrow and rain in the pm so the remaining fruit manoevres will be done on Friday.
