@Jude20 I have this very day started building a Elite Belmont 16x8 Greenhouse. Spent an age last year researching and going round the different outlet's to look at them in the flesh.

We added lots of extras so it has crestings (Mrs Wilderbeast insists it looks pretty), 4 auto opening roof vents, an auto louvred vent, double doors, black plastic coating (more looking pretty). It's was lots less than the Rhino, however I don't know how the titans compare.

Clearly not up and finished, but as I'm a joiner/builder Im really happy with the build quality and it feels really solid. Enjoy your research, just look at delivery timescale as all the major manufacturers are on huge delays.
I have just been doing further exploring with regards to the thought of going wider. It seems Elite make some 7 foot wide as standard.

Interesting to read your comment re the quality of the Elite greenhouse. Many thanks.

I see more hours on the net this evening.....

Jude, you probably don’t want another in the mix but Cultivar do 7’ wide greenhouses. They are superb quality and very stylish but certainly not cheap. The good news is there’s a sale on.

    Hello @Jude20,

Another vote for Rhino from me.thumbsup

Just a couple of points which will apply whatever make you buy.

Firstly, you'll need to give some thought to dealing with drainage from the guttering.
You could install water butts, which we have, but you will need to consider how to deal with the overflow from those when they are full. We have some drainage from the butts going to a soakaway. This was essential as we are in Scotland, and the water butts fill up quickly in winter.
Secondly, if you are laying your greenhouse on paving slabs, try and work out exactly where you will need to drill for any bolts securing the base. If you drill too close to an edge you risk cracking the paving.

We don't have a soil border in ours, but have a large area with gravel for draining any pots when watering. This works really well.
We also installed electricity for running a propagator.

    Good luck,

All excellent points. Many thanks for this. I thought about edges of paving slabs, but I will do now...

Hi, thank you so much for asking. I’d meant to come back and say but totally forgot.

I’m very excited to say that I have a 10 x 8 Rhino in midnight slate on order!

I can’t wait for it to arrive. Though we do have to get the old one down and do a bit groundwork first so I hadn’t better wish the time away too quickly...
  • Me and Mrs Chaos are looking for our first green house, so thanks for all the tips here. We're complete newbies so will be reading all the helpful posts on here :)

When I looked at other makes and started adding on the extras I wanted. Blinds, auto roof vents, staging, shelving etc the Rhino package I went for actually came out cheaper...
