What is This Plant ?

Hi
Can anyone help me identify what this plant is please - it was already in our garden when we moved in some years ago, it flowers beautifully and reliably yellow in April & May every year.

I want to identify it so I can research how best to uplift it and move it without the risk of losing it - I just want to relocate it to another part of the flower bed

The best time to move most shrubs is in autumn when they have gone dormant and the soil is still warm enough for their roots to recover and grow and establish a good hold.   You need to make sure it is watered thoroughly beforehand, that the new hole is well prepared and that you take as much of the root ball as possible.  Plant it at the same level as before and water well.  Stake if necessary.

Cytisus tend to be short lived so be prepared for failure as it may just lack the will to grow if moved.  Other colours are available if you need to replace it.
