Best time for planting

When is the best time to plant crocosmia corms was given a load in September kept them in the dark was wondering when to plant out?

    I would have thought any time the ground isn't frozen. I have been trying to get rid of some and they are indestructible.

    Yes - they're very tough, so no need to worry too much.  :)
    Certainly not a good idea to hold onto them and possibly let them dry out.
    They would really have been better potted up when you got them if you didn't have somewhere to plant them in open ground, but they should be fine.
    It's probably worth potting them up just now, so that you can see if they're still viable. It wouldn't take long for them to start into growth  :)
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
