Designing a indoor pot holder.

I am designing a wall pot holder for up to 6 plants. It is just under 1 meter in diameter. It will be drilled to the wall and held with hinges. There is also thinking of possibly getting a LED strip around the frame for some extra lighting.
As I am testing out work with different materials, 4 of the circles (including frame) will be made from wood, 2 from metal, and a small one with recycled plastic.
Just wanted to share it and get any responses on if you think some changes could make it better. Thank you :)

Succulents, cacti and mame bonsai would look good in something like this!

I'm confused, ( not hard for me ) Does it protrude from the wall and the pots slot into the holes, or does it sit flush with the wall and the pots sit on the small flat pieces at the bottom of the circles ?

The latter, I think, @Pauline 7.   Wouldn't do for m.  My houseplants either grow with gay abandon and would outgrow the spaces in about 10 minutes, or else they die.

Hmmm.  I have a 40 year old ficus benjamina and its pal elastica, both over 2m high now.   I have an asparagus fern sending out frons 3m long.  I have hibiscus sinensis with strong vertical and horizontal ambitions.

I have an aloe vera, bought cos I burn myself a lot when cooking, that has now had a dozen offspring and a very happy Christmas cactus.

Can't get a prayer plant to survive despite several efforts and loathe cactii and assorted succulents tho those may do well in such a display @Pauline 7

I've given up on houseplants.  I even managed to see off a venus fly trap and a spider plant.

Have never got on with Venus Fly Trap but have had to give away loads of plants with world dominance ambitions - spider plants, clivias, sansevierias...
