I have a couple of Daphne o. aureomarginata (still in bud) and a couple of D. "Perfume Princess" which have been in flower for some weeks now and will be flowering for months; An excellent plant. First pic is aureomarginata (with a Japanese quince growing through it) and last two are Perfume Princess. I used to have an Eternal Fragrance but it turned-up it's toes (which I may have mentioned in the other thread.)
A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.
I have daphne Perfume Princess - last year it flowered from early January till April. But then the leaves became all droopy and fell off. Maybe because it spent last summer in a relatively shady position or maybe because it is in a pot. Now it is still in a pot, but in the sun, only has two or three tiny blossoms and still no leaves. Is there a chance for it to survive and get the leaves back and hopefully flowering again next winter?
@BobTheGardener, I particularly love your 'Perfume Princess', and the Daphne mezereum is also spectacular, @Silver surfer . They must love your conditions.
