I did an order for 3 bare roots earlier this year and was very pleased - my first with them but they arrived quickly nice thick stems, arrived undamaged and very reasonably priced.  Will see what they look like in summer but im pleased so far.

I have to say that the rose arrived the next day which was some going, and looks very healthy. Just waiting for things to warm up next week before planting.

..well, I'm not going to recommend them for their packaging, as they send out their roses in green plastic bags...
Hi Marlorena, I have just seen your response on the forum. We do use green root wrap bags to ensure that the roses do not dry out.  We would welcome any feedback you might have on how we can do better.  As mentioned on one of the treads below - we have been roses growers for over 30 years and supply many of the large garden centres and other growers.  However, we are always open to ideas on how to improve.  Sarah Cottage Memories

    Hi Sarah,

I can say your roses are absolutely first class, as others have found too.. and all the growers I've used send out in some kind of plastic, maybe a bit thinner but otherwise I wouldn't know how to change that.   Keep doing what you're doing, I was a little harsh...  best wishes..

  • I have bought 7 roses from Cottage Memories this year. I'm pleased to report that they used biodegradable plastic bags very similar to David Austin packaging. All plants were perfect specimens and I would happily recommend them to anyone!

Hi Sarah - how nice to see you on the GW forum!  The One In A Million I bought from you at the Bungay Garden Market is growing and blooming well and the scent - divine!  I love it!
