New 9cm plants

I have recently received a delivery of various plants (more to come) in 9cm 'pots' (not really pots, more some sort of plastic tray) should I pot up and wait until spring or can they stay in these 'pots' until then?

Just keep an eye on the root growth, if they fill the pot, repot slightly larger, but saying that a tray doesn't sound very good for long term so would probably pot up into individual pots.
  • I would say pot up too, as the plants may have different growing requirements such as shade or water that would be hard to satisfy in a tray. Also if any do get pests or fungus (sadly it can happen) it would be easier to separate them. If they do well you may have to pot on again until it is safe to plant them out.
