I must say that sounded nothing like my song thrush. Mine was easy to watch as it sat at the very top of the tree. It's song was a complicated mix of other birds songs, always in sets of three with a gap between. Only know it was singing as I could see it, it sounded so like other birds.

Are you sure yours isn't a mistle thrush? They tend to sing from the very tops of trees. The songs are really variable though. The RSPB reckon they sound like a drunk blackbird but I can't hear it myself.
