Rats

in Problem solving
we have rats in the compost which was just getting to the right stage!
can this be used or does their droppings and wee carry diseases

    I would happily use it as a mulch ... I wouldn't handle it without gloves tho.

    Rats urinate constantly as they are roaming/foraging but probably less so when in their own nest, so I would agree with the advice given by @Dovefromabove
    A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.

    I just had a friend tell me that if you feed a rodent ramen noodles in the dry form after the rodent ingests them the noodles will expand and kill the rodent?  Is this just crazy talk?  He claims he was able to get rid of a mole doing this?
