Watering hanging baskets

  I used a kit from B&Q for the pipes, drippers etc but it was probably about 15 years ago so I don't think they still do it. It has narrow flexible tubes, both in-line and end-of-line drippers, T-joints, and a "thingy" where the system attaches to a standard hose. Oh and clips to attach pipes to walls, but cable clips would do the job. The drippers need descaling from time to time (hard water here) but otherwise it's still fine. I use a timer so I don't even need to turn the tap on and off (it was originally set up when I was going to be away a lot for work). My original Hozelock timer died but it was my fault because one year I forgot to bring it in before the first hard frosts. I replaced it with a much cheaper one, which works just as well.

  I use a Hozelock automated drip watering system.  I have that rigged up for about 40 pots, troughs and hanging baskets. I water the baskets manually every couple of weeks to add liquid fertilizer.

  Slow-release fertiliser mixed into the compost is useful if you don't want to feed manually. Obviously only for things like bedding plants that are planted fresh each year though.

  Thanks for your suggestions, MikGX that isn't big enough. What I want is something that goes all around the house so I just turn the tap on and they are all watered
