Pant ID and advice

Hi everyone. Firstly I forgot what this plant is called so any help with that would be great. Also I've noticed leaves falling off around the base so I've moved it to a more sheltered position but wondered does it need to be protected? Thanks

    It looks like Pittosporum  tenuifolium Tom Thumb.
    Not hardy in cold areas.

    Zooming in on the leaves, I think it might be Coprosma Repens. They are not all that hardy if you live somewhere north. You have done the right thing by moving them up against a warm wall. They can drop leaves in the winter and also in spring, but new leaves will quickly be replaced.
