Planting tulips

Hi, is it too late to plant tulips and crocus?
Left it a bit late 🤔

Thanks

You can but try, rather than waste them. I know you can plant tulips in December.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
  • Yes, no other choice as they'll dry out and die if you don't.  The tulips should still flower but will be a bit later than normal.  The crocus may only produce leaves this year but should flower in spring 2022.
A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.
  • Ok, thank you for your help.

  • I planted crocus and daffodils later than this last year and they all flowered so should be fine. Never really grown tulips but as above I'd expect.

Better to plant them than lose them altogether.
