Identifying plants

Hello All

I have a garden full of plants which I do not know, and therefore, do not understand how to care for or whether I want to keep them. Please can you offer any help regarding any of the below (most are shrubs), do they have flowers as they surround y veg patch so I want to encourage more and diverse flowering, and when and how hard to cut back. I have numbered them for ease of commenting - thanks.

    1 . Azalea 
    2. Weigela
    3. Black currant
    4. The leaves throw me off I confuse them with other so maybe not be correct but looks like a Philadelphus
    5.Forsythia
    6. one of the contoneasters  
    7. Another currant but looks more like the flowering variety - Ribes sanguineum
    8. Cornus , possibly cornus alba aurea 
    9.Cornus alba elegantissima

    Photo 4 looks like a Viburnum. Maybe Bodnantense or Plicatum.

    I think 3 is another flowering currant rather than blackcurrant.
    A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.

    thanks All - yes Bob I know the blackcurrant bush and there is something about number 3 that makes me uncertain those berries are for eating - it is almost 6 ft high, and puts on about 1ft a year -im not sure blackcurrant bushes get that high an
