Pheasants and wild flower turf

Hi.
I recently had some areas of wildflower turf laid. I hate mowing and love wildflowers. Unfortunately the local pheasants have spotted it and are descending in numbers. I don’t have a big garden and would actually like to see some wild flowers next summer. Any suggestions on how to deter them?
