Name that plant

Hi everyone!

Can anyone help me identify this plant?

I thought it was a flag iris like the others next to it to the left. But the leaves are more profuse and thinner and it has all grown in a clump?

Many thanks!

I don't know what it is - maybe some sort of grass or sedge.
I had something very similar looking and left it to see what it was. Coincidentally mine was also amongst a clump of iris.
Eventually a tall seed head appeared - a bit like a tiny loose bullrush - and that was it.
The next year I had seedlings appear in the same area which I got rid of.

Sorry don't think it is the sedge, I know the one you mean we have it.
The leaves are shiny and darker.

hatty's photo colour looks to have a grey bloom to the leaf and flat, more along the line with Marran's .Sisyrinchium.

We used to have Libertia but I forgot what it looks like, more spikey and hard I think, so maybe a bum steer.
