Best time to split grasses

  Wait until there's about 6" of new growth in the spring, then split them.

  Cool climate grasses are those that flower early in the season whereas the warm season grasses flower later. Think of warm season grasses as ones that need a summer warmth to encourage flowering and are a good partner for late season perennials.

  Great thanks Mines are cool climate so maybe do end feb early March
