Bird nest box suppliers online?

Anyone able to recommend somewhere to buy bird nest boxes online?

Garden centres I’ve been to don’t seem to have them for sale yet.

I want to get some up before this years nesting season.

I've used CJ Wildlife in UK and found them reliable.
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

Surely, so easy to make yourself out of pallet timber?
  • We bought ours from the RSPB. They also have instructions, on their site, on how to build your own bird boxes

We did the same and rustled up two in a couple of hours. The RSPB template is so simple.

I find Garden Nature is a great company. The staff are very helpful.

I'd happily make one but I can't access my workbench at the moment.

I've seen blue tits showing interest in one of my nest boxes, but its now quite rotten so needed to replace it before any nesting starts. Ended up buying one from the local garden centre, I wouldn't normally pay their prices but I found a nearly expired gardening voucher which made it just £5.

Didn't like the white interior and exterior so I gave it a lick of paint inside & out, took the old one down and fitted the new one today. Might have to wait till next year to see any use...

It looks as if the top opens for cleaning which is always recommended but most boxes I've seen don't open.
East Dorset, new (to me) rather neglected garden.

It does, though I usually secure the lids further with a screw to stop the squirrels getting in.
