Cutting back Digitalis Foxlight

I picked up a few Digitalis Foxlight Ruby Glows (https://www.gardenia.net/plant/digitalis-x-valinii-foxlight-ruby-glow) last year on a whim. Loved the flowers in summer and foliage over winter, but not sure what to do with them now.

Is it a case of cutting all the foliage back down to the ground, or should I just cut down the main flower spike and keep the smaller stems? The smaller stems haven't yet flowered.

    D.valinii is not fully hardy, so may not survive the winter. All you need to do now, is to cut down the flowered spikes.

    Didn’t know about the hardiness. It’s been such a mild winter here though, so it should pull through.
