might wire trellis get too hot or cold and damage climbers?

Hi all,
I'm planning to make a wire trellis in front of a fence for a mixture of honeysuckle and clematis. The fence faces south east, and most of it gets no shade till evening. I'm worried that the wires get too hot in summer/cold in winter. Does anyone have any experience of this?
I've renovation pruned back to 60cm as the plants were just scrambling across the grass, so they've great roots, but won't really shade themselves initially till they get a bit bushier again.
thank you!!

I have been using trellis panels made from builders' iron mesh for reinforcing concrete for 20 years.  It's fine.  My previous garden had temps ranging form -25C to 38C+.   This one does -8C to 40C+ in the shade.

I'd endorse what Obelixx says.  We've had similar experience with clematis on our garage wall but, if you're worried (the experts say you can suffer from burning), why not use some short pieces of discarded hose pipe or other rubber/plastic tubing, split lengthways, to put on the wire where you want to attach your plants.  Simple cable ties will hold the stems in place.
