Self-pollinating courgettes?

I am looking for self-pollinating courgette seeds, ideally also mildew resistant. Can anyone suggest a variety?

I usually buy one or two plugs or small plants of one of the yellow skinned varieties because they're prettier than the green and the skin is never bitter.

have never needed to pollinate them.  The bees and their pals do that.

If you get the planting conditions right - soil/compost, feeding and watering plus sunlight, mildew is only a problem in periods of drought if you under water.

Parthenon is a good one and fairly easy to get, it's non pollinating rather than self but it works on it's own and inside. It only produces female flowers and they set fruit without pollination.
  • I grow a variety Tuscany it crops well and doesn't end up as marrow if you miss picking one at it's prime.

  • I grow 'Gold Rush', which is another popular variety.
