I've used them several times. I've only ever bought bare root hedging [and we're in that time frame just now ] so I can't comment on that. Potted plants are always dearer though.

@Fairygirl thanks again. I've tried to look for any contact info - but they've removed it from site due to them being very busy. Do you have their email and phone number please? Also do you know if they just sell, or can plant as well?
I've only ever contacted them by their site so I don't have any contact numbers. They're only a supplier though. There are other places like Hedges Direct, which I know other forum members have used, so you could try them. Some places will be struggling to fulfill orders just now though, so you may just have to be patient!

@Fairygirl Thank you. Thank you, I do realise now that Leylandii is too dangerous and Thuja Plicata is a better choice.
Can you recommend a specific Thuja Plicata? If I look on the RHS website, there are 22 results. Or should I just go for something called just 'Thuja Plicata', without any other words?
As I understand it something called in this case just "Thuja Plicata" would be the standard species, while the RHS lists all the different cultivars they know of. If you dig into "all plant results" you can find the entry for the species here. But the ultimate size is of course if you don't prune it, a hedge specialist should say how big it can be maintained with regular trimming. Hedges Direct, which others have mentioned, list that info as I found when I planted a new hedge last year.
Unless you have a specific reason to go for a cultivar I'd recommend using the plain species for a hedge because it will be much cheaper.
I'd just follow their advice re spacing. I only ever do bare root hedging, and I don't buy big specimens - far more expensive, and harder to establish I don't use anything much when planting either, as I feed the soil when prepping the border they're going into with compost/manure etc. Perhaps a bit of B,F&B, but I always mulch afterwards with bark or similar. They get nothing after that apart from a mulch now and again, but I don't have to worry about watering here. That will be the main factor, especially approaching spring/summer if you're in a drier area

Thank you so much for the link.
Is this the nursery you trust and can I just buy from there?
Also, do you recommend buying root ball or potted?

@Trantion
Thanks again for your suggestions. I’m ready to place an order for 7x Thuja Plicata Atrovirens with Hopes Grove Nurseries.
Do you have any advice on the gap between 2-2.25m Thujas? Should I just do 1 meter as per website?
Also do you recommend using Root Grow + compost for planting?
