One Utchiki Kuri can give you several good squashes as long as you feed it, water it and then stop it. This means cutting off the stem above the last viable fruit so it doesn't waste energy on trying to produce later set fruits up the stem which will sap energy and never fully grow or ripen. It pays not to be greedy and just aim for 3 or 4 good fruits per plant.
