Landscape/Garden ideas needed!

    Something else you could do is have a walk around your area and see what grows well in other people's front gardens, and if there are any plants or styles that you particularly like or dislike. If you want help ID-ing a plant that you like, take a pic and post it in a new thread on here.

    I know the problem only too well @danielmarksimpsonKtmCWwIs. Some of the 'jaggier' shrubs are useful, like Berberis. There are some varieties which don't get too large, and they need minimal care.  :)
    It's certainly a good idea to have a couple of little stepping stones as @rachelQrtJHBjb says. It just makes it easier to access and care for the plants. 
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
