Indoor plants - water irrigation system

Hi there, Does anyone have any advice/experience with self watering irrigation systems for indoor plants? I'm looking at purchasing this to last for 3 months or more (ideally) on its own for 7 plants to water once a week (UK winter), and would either connect it to the bath filled with water or a large container of water. Would run on USB with backup batteries which would kick in once the USB has run out.

Thank you,  Megan

I think you would be better off finding a plant sitter to keep your seven plants at their house for that duration.  Plants need other maintenance beyond just a measure of water once a week.  What if a pest takes over while you are gone?  And the water needs change across the three months, depending on temperature and light.

Hi "Blue Onion" thanks for your advice. I went with a neighbour in the end who will come in and water the plants regularly.

    Cheers, Megan
