Horse's for course's really, wooden bins do dry compost rapidly which is why I line all my bins with a membrane of some sort. Wood is generally cheaper per litre capacity and damaged or decayed bits can be easily replaced. I use pallets but they aren't pretty
I have the same one that Pete linked to but from a different supplier, worth shopping around for the same thing as it was definitely cheaper than £120/bay. I like it as it’s modular so you can buy each module a few months apart as you fill it up to spread the cost.
When making comparisons be sure to check the dimensions of the bin and the thickness of the boards to ensure you’re comparing like with like. What attracts me to the Agamemnon product is that the timber is 25mm thick.
