Spent potato compost and rhubarb
in Fruit & veg
My first post, so apologies if been asked before but couldn’t find similar.
I have loads of compost from my potatoes last year, and I am due to get some rhubarb crowns next week, is it ok to dig some of this compost into the ground where I intend to grow the rhubarb? I know there are lots of things not to do with potato and tomato compost but no idea about effects on rhubarb?
Is it just that shouldn’t use potato compost for this years tomatoes and potatoes in case of disease, but will be fine for beds that intend to grow other things in like carrots, parsnips, onions, brassicas?
if not a good idea I do have a large wild flower bed that will just use it up on.

The potato compost will be fine to dig into your rhubarb bed. Good idea 👍
