i neglected to cut a yew hedge last year,when can I start to cut it this year

    I know you didn't ask how, but this link gives a calendar graph of the when of the months to do pruning and advice of what to do when you have been naughty and forgot.

    Sorry ...for goodness sakes it appears to have locked to secret subs mode once link is posted.
    It says . The months inclusive of May to September for pruning.

    If you're in a milder area, you can really prune from around March/April  onwards. They're very tough.  :)
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....



    I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
