Laurel Hedge Trimming

Would it be okay to trim down a laurel hedge at this time of year or should I wait until the weather gets a bit milder - looking for jobs to do outside

    As long as no frost is forecast for a few days so the cuts can callus over it should be ok.

    Many thanks for your advice - I think I will wait a week or two as it is very cold up here in the North
