Spider plant dead?

Hello,

I had a small spider plant for over a year in good condition, however an accident led to it losing all its leaves. At the moment all I have is the roots in the compost in the pot.

Will this regrow?

Spider plants are all but indestructible, thanks to its big fat juicy roots, it can go a long time without water.  If you tip it out and find the roots are plump and white, it will probably recover.  Especially if you re-pot it in fresh compost and feed it now and then.
  • It should send up new leaves pretty quickly. A sunny spot, not too much water and a bit of tlc and it should be back in no time. Ours are frequently bitten down to nothing by our budgies. The little monsters dig straight for the crown
