Weed that looks like lobelia?

Hi everyone, I was doing some gardening today and noticed a weed that looked somewhat like a perennial lobelia. There were a lot of them singularly scatted all around but I came across one that seemed to be quite a clump, at least root wise anyway!

  • Can you post a photo as I don't recognise the plant from the description.

Possibly some kind of speedwell?  As Rachel says, if you can post a photo that would help  :)

The perennial lobelias are similar to  willowherb, so I'd guess it's that.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

I think Willowherb too. It often catches me out momentarily.
  • Hi guys sorry for the late response. I will see about getting a photo
