Spring bulb planting - is it too late now?

Hi all, I was gifted some lovely spring bulbs for Christmas. Tulips, Muscari Armeniacum and Narcissus Tete a Tete. Can anyone advise whether it is too late to plant these up in pots now? Or will they just bloom later than normal?
Thanks so much!

They won't bloom at all if you don't plant them.

They should be fine to plant now tho may, as you suspect, be a bit late but that's OK.  If there are any small bulbs that look a bit dry, soak them overnight in cold water to rehydrate them.

Super thanks so much for the reply! I really appreciate it! Will get them planted up tomorrow
  • Absolutely, they may flower later and the blooms may not be quite as big but they should still give a worthwhile display.
