Happy Christmas πŸŽ„πŸŽ… !

I brought my silver potted elephant ear plants in at winter and on a windowsill in an unheated spare room.

Water only if surface is dry.

Leaves are going really droopy and floppy?
😲

What is happening? Overwatering? Move away from light? πŸ€”

Already lost one as think root rotted? πŸ₯Ί

Got 2 left. Shall I re-pot with new compost?πŸ€”

Please advise thank you πŸ™

My own Colocasia plants I leave bone dry during the winter months , leaving the tubers to overwinter frost-free in a dry environment .
In late-spring I commence watering (in a greenhouse) and grow on as usual .
The loss of leaves is perfectly normal unless you can provide tropical temperatures , but in the lower light levels of winter this can only lead to leaf etiolation (weak-growth due to poor light) .
Best kept dormant for now !
