Now that's a great Christmas gift for a gardener!

I have just received a package from a fellow gardener in Avignon who specialises in organic heritage and varied vegetables.  Many different seeds to sow early next year.  What a wondrous sight!!!
My OH who is Italian has just received a box from la mamma.  Home made canistrelli, Pane d'oro and Genovese Pannetone - we'll be huge, so more gifts to neighbours as we can't have an afternoon tea with them.

@Lizzie  Looks like I have my work cut out for summer.  There are 14 different types of tomatoes - about 3-6 seeds in each packet.  What patience to do that!  All labelled  and some with a remark.

  • That is a truly thoughtful gift!

@Desi_in_London   Yes, Desi, isn't it just!!  There are still kind thoughtful people around!   Merry Christmas.

  • Thoughtful gifts are the best.. my partner is completely hopeless with gifts.. it took me many prompting to get him to realise he should get me something to related to allotment gardening since I’ve only just recently acquired a key to my own plot.. I think he’s bought a spade or something 😛

Great gift!  I nearly always have gardening related stuff on my wish list for birthdays and Xmas, or something for the house or kitchen that I can enjoy using.  OH and Possum find it very boring but have finally, I think, got the message.

@celcius_kkw and @Obelixx  I'm glad December is almost over and I can start sorting trays and pots and many many labels for sowing in February.

I asked Hubby for a border fork for my birthday.  He gave me a trench fork.  It is now decorating the shed just in case I have to replace any sewer pipes.😒

My OH is similarly gifted @Yviestevie.  I now send him lists with links to the things I need or have on my wish list.   Still not fool proof and I have no idea how he does that.
