Snowdrops before Christmas

Posts

  • Love snowdrops ... I’ve not seen ours appearing yet ... I’ll have a look later ... but today when delivering a card I saw that our neighbour has a clump of white tazetta type narcissus in bloom in her garden 😊

There are a fair number of Galanthus which flower naturally in December.

When I was hanging out the washing this morning I noticed a few new flowers on my Ceanothus. It's been mild for the last few days, but not that mild!! Snowdrops, not even got their noses out of the ground yet.
Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Soil type: sandy, well-drained
