Tetrapanax Papyrifer Rex

Torg22Torg22 Posts: 302
Hi. I have aquired a very small Tetrapanax seeding, possibly a root cutting but not sure. It's only an inch tall with 3 small leaves. Will it be okay to leave it in an unheated mini greenhouse over the winter? Im in probably the mildest part of the UK. Thanks Chris

Yes it should be ok in there if you have some bubble wrap you could wrap the pot in it. They are pretty tough once established

I found mine on Facebook marketplace. I live in Essex but went to visit my parents in Norfolk and stopped off en route in Norwich to collect from a lady. Was a fiver so bit of a bargain  (if I get it through the winter)

@fidgetbones I got 2 this year from "palm exotics by Michelle" they were big plants and both have done really well (I got a selection of plants from them in a crazy midnight splurge during lockdown 1) they still have them available.
