I'd be interested to know how you maintain your tree ferns @bertrand-mabel. Do you remove the previous year's fronds as the new ones start to emerge? There was a recent article in GW magazine advising to leave 10-15cms of the old fronds behind to prevent the crown from contracting. I did this but as the new fronds appeared I thought the old stalks were impeding their progress so I cut them down to crown level. Also do you feed your tree ferns? Any tips appreciated please! Thank you.
Could you fern experts please suggest for me a fern to go in the space between the rocks on the right side of the filter box (just 'beneath' the red mark). It'll be splashed by water constantly and its feet can either sit in permanently wet or moist soil. I'm probably after something which is around 15-25cm across. Happy as well for any other fern recommendations for elsewhere in this waterfall whilst I try to naturalise it!
This fern was doing badly in the ground so I've pulled it out and put it in a pot to see if I can restore it to health before putting it back in the ground somewhere more suitable. Could someone I D it for me and give me an idea of where it would like to end up? Thanks

I think Hart's Tongue would be nice, and it does enjoy growing in those sorts of conditions. There are various forms of it, I would stay clear of excessively cristate ones - they can look a bit like lettuce!

Thanks @Loxley I'll have a Google😊 Edit: As it's an evergreen, it must be in an even worse state than I thought! Looks like I took well drained dappled shade a little too literally. The blast of midday sun probably didn't do much good either.
