I tried an experiment this year.
By October I pulled the plants, but one Rose de Berne still had some sizeable fruits that were still very green.
I left them on the defoliated plant until there was a frost a few weeks ago.
I picked the fruits and left them on a grid above my heated floor - and they're looking rather good.
I'm planning on a Greek salad this evening so hope they taste as good as they look!
I've never had a home-grown tomato in December before!
