Ready-made raised bed.

Please can anyone give some advice.
My husband has brought a ready made raised bed.
Its not going to be used this winter.
Shall I line it and fill in with compost now even though I will not using it until spring.
Thanks 😊

If you're using bagged compost, no. The rains will wash the nutrients out before you plant it up.  If you're using topsoil, and particularly if you're adding manure that might not be fully rotted down, then yes.

Edited to add: If you can cover the bed with plastic or a tarp or similar to keep the rain off it, it might be OK filled now (eg if you have nowhere to store your compost).
