    I don't live on the coast  :)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

    Ok.

So "The 99% of West Scotland that Freezes Your Breeks Off and prevents you growing pineapples outside".

    Clear.

We have had 3 small ones this year, as I sit here in my north facing conservatory, no heating on, it's  very nice 19.1c, outside it's 12.1c not a cloud in the sky, bit of wind (no not me!!) and the washing drying nicely, thank you.
  • In the SW we had -2.7 degrees on Thursday night /Friday morning with a thick fog that lasted all morning which got thicker as the frost cleared and then the sun came out.
Fortunately the tree ferns had a snug collar and are ok.
    Milder today!

We had our first frost on night of 26th - all the shed rooves covered in white - so lovely. The dahlias in pots are all tucked up in their fleece jackets for the winter.

Cosmos is doing well still. Lobelia, sedum and begonias have not looked better all year long. Quite a bit is still going strong. Roses are in bud again, though the frost may now put them off from opening. We've had it very mild in north London till now this year.
