Privet hedge problem

Hi
i have a Privet hedge which was heavily pruned last year & was recovering well before last winter with new growth & leaf cover. however this year i have only had to cut the hedge once (normally at least 4 times per year).also the leaves have become blotchy & kind of grey. keeping fingers crossed its not honey fungus
