Alocasia yellowing leaves

I have a new Alocasia that seems unhappy with its new life with us. 

The leaves are developing brown areas and also yellowing. I'm watering it sparingly, allowing it to dry between watering and it's not in direct sun. 

Any tips on how to give it some love?

    It's not sitting in water no, only had it 3 weeks so maybe it's the change in conditions.
