I have just finished reading (again) "Close to the Veg" by Michael Rand a very entertaining book about life on the allotment. It was published in 2005 by Marlin Press. Despite all my best efforts to trace the author and/or the publisher,they both seem to have disappeared. Dioes anyone out there have any clues or information ?

Thanks for all your efforts. Unfortunately there are lot of Michael Rands out there as Google will testify, and some of them are authors (mostly American it appears)

I'll try a different tac. Michael's plot was on the Fitzroy Park Allotments in Highgate, North London.
Are those plts still being worked ? Is anyone out there that has one ?

The Marlin Press only published 9 books, the last in 2005, so it is safe to assume it has been remaindered.

Thank you all once again.I hadn't looked at the Fitzroy Park allotments link,BenCotto,so many thanks for that. Mr.Rand does seem to be still plotting.
