Hi, have you built your out house yet? Or were you looking to insulate a out house? We built a summer house out of cob (sub soil/ clay sand and straw) Last summer. We didn't end up insulating it although we intended to out of hempcrete. We did sorce the hemp from https://eastyorkshirehemp.co.uk/distributors/ which is the farm that grow it and supply alot of the companies that sell it.
If your not so bothered about insulation, then cob is just so beautiful to work with. You could also build a timber frame and use small straw bales, then render them with lime render in side and out? Or go to town and use cob and hempcrete. I'll try and atach a photo of our finished cob summer house.
I'm trying to find out if there are any funded research projects at the moment around cob or hempcrete (or similar natural insulations) cobBauge at Plymouth University just finished this year. I'd love to read more about similar projects.
