I only sowed my sweet peas a couple of weeks ago (in Wimbledon) and they are doing great.
im just around the corner in SW20 !!
I'm Worcester park so we have a good SW London gang! I sow my foxgloves around July normally for flowering the following May-June 😊

I was just going to quote that too, @Janie B
I was planning to sow sweet peas this or next week. Last year I sowed them indoors in April and they wanted to be potted on/planted outside long before I dared do so. Initially very healthy loking plants ended up being straggly... and this may be why they succumbed to mildew within just a month? I was hoping to avoid these issues by sowing in an unheated greenhouse type environment then putting in a cold frame for winter. I also have some sweet pea pots to pot them on into just in case. (Will start them off in root trainers.)

p.s. I am in SE London.

I often sow in February. They usually flower about two weeks behind ones sown in October.   Foxgloves I will sow in March. They don't need much heat.
