My Cherry bush has come on quite nicely in its first full year. I transplanted early spring into this large blue pot and seems very much at home. It faces due south and gets the sun throughout the day. I had about three flowers on it earlier on but they have now gone. It is 75cms tall and branches spreading out sideways, so much so I have put in a couple of canes either side to give it a more upright growth; hope that was OK. I keep it moist but wonder how often to feed it and what with. Having purchased and set up four water butts holding a total volume of 600 litres of rain water, I have a ready supply of water. Any advice would be gratefully accepted to a budding gardener.
I purchased this cherry bush porthos two years ago and planted it in my well performing allotment near the raspberries and rhubarb. Unfortunately it has neither flowered or fruited thus far. Does it just need to mature, or am I doing something wrong?
Hi @Liz.Jordan You've added your question to an old thread, so it would be better if you started a New Discussion and post your question afresh. I don't grow cherries so can't offer advice I'm afraid.
