Are my palms in good health

Hi there I recently purchased these palm trees for my garden, I don’t have much knowledge on palm tree health. Are these looking healthy? There’s some yellowing on them but not sure if that’s a cause for concern or just the time of the year?

The ones in the first pic look more like Cordylines, although they might be Yucca,  and they all like well drained soil, so I'm not sure they're in a very good site, especially that small one. They certainly need a large area of turf  cleared round them. It's just competition for nutrients and moisture when needed. If the soil isn't well drianed, they won't do well.
The second one likewise. All that stuff round it is a very bad idea, and the trunk stands a good chance of being annihilated by a lawnmower. Palms of any kind need good drainage.
If the planting holes weren't prepped well, it doesn't help plants thrive. Making holes in grass isn't a terribly good approach for those kinds of plants I'm afraid.

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

They look exactly like mine at this time of year.  With both, I cut off any yellowing/dead leaves.  As it's Winter, there's no need to do this now, and with frosts already happening it's best not to until Spring.  It will aid the health/growth of the plant, and it will look better.  We give weekly liquid feeds to ours between Spring and Autumn.

Are yours well established or similar to mine and relatively small compared to what they will grow to?
