Lemon Tree - Dusty / Yellow Leaves

Hi all. I received a lemon tree in the summer and have since moved it inside for the winter in a light and airy spot and have switched to winter feed. I am now noticing quite a bit of leaf drop and the leaves now have a dusty residue on them and they are turning yellow / brown. Hoping someone will have some advice!

  • Check the undersides of the affected leaves for scale insect, or other pests. I agree that moving them can be a bit of a shock. I used to put mine in the greenhouse & they still lost most of their leaves in Winter & spent most of summer recovering. Then as they got too big to move I started to protect them in situ. They live on my South facing patio all year round now, they do loose some leaves in winter but not nearly so many as they used to AND I get Lemons.
